Dominique thanks Chi Ying TSUI for inviting the Working Group at HKUST, and providing transportation.

Lionel Torres, newly elected member, introduces himself and is acclaimed to the Working Group.

The three other newly elected members (Ayse Coskun, Leandro Soares Indrusiak, Michael Hübner) will attend a next WG meeting.

- Update on VLSI-SoC 2012 by Dominique Borrione using presentation prepared by Matthew Guthaus (see attached .pdf document)

Call for paper is out and was distributed during the meeting for participants to distribute in the events they attend. More copies are available, can be requested to Matthew.

The main responsibilities have been assigned. The members of the technical program committee will be invited after VLSI_SOC 2011, as a result of the feed-back from what happened during VLSI-SOC 2011.

This is based on what had been presented in San Diego by Alex Orailoglu

We are still missing a complete proposal, that should include:

The more definite proposal will be provided in writing by the General Chair, and discussed by e-mail with the VLSI-SOC Executive Committee for formal approval by the WG.
After approval by the WG, the next urgent step is to start the paper work with IFIP, and have the MOU signed.

The WG meeting was preceded by a VLSI-SOC PC and Steering Committee meeting for VLSI-SOC 2011.
