BIOGRAPHY

I am a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Department of Engineering for Innovation Medicine at the University of Verona, Italy.

My research focuses on the multi-domain simulation and abstraction of smart and Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) under a holistic vision. To support the overall functional safety of these systems, new safety mechanisms are created by testing how different classes of faults injected in the physical domains that compose a smart or CPS produce alterations at the system level.

The entire research aims to support the definition of resilient CPS that needs to preserve functional safety in every operating condition and to prevent critical situations for machines and humans.

I obtained my Ph.D. in Computer Science at the University of Verona in 2023 with a thesis titled “Fault-based Analysis of Industrial Cyber-Physical Systems” under the supervision of Prof. Franco Fummi.
