Associate Professor
Davide Quaglia received his PhD in Computer Engineering from Politecnico di Torino (Italy) in 2003. Currently he is Associate Professor at the Computer Science Department of the University of Verona (Italy) where he currently teaches network topics. He is author/co-author of about 80 papers and member of IEEE and Euromicro.
Davide Quaglia's research interests are focused on networked systems by considering them as a distributed embedded application of the whole system. In particular, he is working on specification, modeling, design exploration, simulation, synthesis with particular emphasis on the role of the network in the distributed embedded system. He is working both on theoretical aspects and tools. Regarding applications of this research, he is focusing on Internet of Things, cyber-physical systems, smart city, smart manufacturing, precision agriculture, location-based applications, traceability, and wearable computing.
